Following the recent storms, we would like to provide an update regarding the damage sustained to the perimeter netting on our course. As a result of this damage, the 1st hole remains temporarily closed, and we are utilising the Lake Johnson Hole in the interim. Fortunately, the damage to the netting of the 13th hole does not require the closure of the hole and it remains in play.
The Club has been in contact with industry experts to arrange for the necessary repairs. Given the high demand for contractors with a number of other clubs facing similar issues, repairs to the netting are expected to commence as early as next week, pending contractor availability.
The repair work for the 1st hole is anticipated to take only a few days to complete, however exact timelines cannot be confirmed until contractors are on site. Once the repairs are finished, the 1st hole will reopen for play. Work on the 13th hole netting will follow at a later date, with details to be provided once confirmed.
Thank you for your understanding and patience as we address these necessary repairs.
